Allegheny Trail Hostel

The Allegheny Trail Hostel is located on the first floor of the Meyersdale Community Center at 215 Main Street, Meyersdale, PA, at the bottom of the hill from the Western Maryland Train Station, also on Main Street. The station serves as a trailhead for the Allegheny Highlands Trail which is part of the Great Allegheny Passage, the trail system that connects the C&O Canal Trail from Cumberland, Md., to McKeesport near Pittsburgh, Pa.

Notes:
The hostel is located within easy walking and bicycling distance of restaurants, stores, and the Paul E. Fuller Playground.
Guests must provide a form of identification such as a passport, photo driver's license, state or county I.D.

History:
The Meyersdale Community Center was once the Meyersdale High School. The structure was built in 1937.
