The station is operated by the
Meyersdale Area Historical Society. Meetings are held the first Thursday
of each month in the station. The station is open weekends from May through
October from 1 to 5 p.m. and by appointment.

Directions:
From Route 219, turn onto Main Street and proceed to traffic light.
Stay on Main Street and drive over the CSX railroad crossing. The station
is at the top of the hill on your left.

Depots west of Cumberland included Cumberland City Junction, Lap, Frostburg,
Colmar, Deal, Sand Patch, Meyersdale, Garrett, Rockwood, Casselman, Stewardstown,
Indian Creek, Bluestone, Greenwood, and Connellsville.
The Meyersdale station is pictured at right in 1992, framed
by the North Street Bridge, a Western Maryland Railway structure that
carried automobile traffic over the line. It was removed in the late 1980s
or early 1990s due to safety concerns and was not replaced.
